What Affects Your Price
Because we quote per-job rather than from a fixed list, the right price depends on:
- Access — a water heater in an open basement is simpler than one in a tight crawlspace.
- Age and condition of existing plumbing. Older galvanized supply lines often need additional fittings or short replacements during a project.
- Code-required updates — current Michigan plumbing code may require updates (e.g., an expansion tank on a new water heater, anti-scald valves on showers) that older installs don't have.
- Time of service — after-hours and emergency calls carry a service fee. We disclose it before we dispatch.
- Materials choice — premium brands or fixtures cost more than standard, and we let you choose.
